Hello Volleyball lovers! today I am very excited to talk about the Nebraska vs Stanford which is going to happen in 24, August 2025 at Lincoln, Neb. / Pinnacle Bank Arena. The exact time is not announced yet but the day is Sunday.
It is a great opportunity for all because it going to happen in the weekend So, everyone is free on the week . get your ticket or watch it on your favourite sport channel. As you know the head of the Husker is Dani Busboom Kelly and Kevin Hambly is the head coach of Stanford.
Volleyball is my favorite sport, and these two are the best. I want to share my thoughts about them and guess who might win. Let’s go step by step so everyone can understand.
Why This Matchup Is Big
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are super strong in NCAA women’s volleyball. They have won five national championships! Their fans are crazy about them and always fill the stadium. Stanford lost some players, but they are still strong. They have a system that works every year. Kami Miner is their senior setter. She gives over 11 assists per set. She is the heart of their attack. Elia Rubin and Ipar Kurt are outside hitters. They get more than 50% of the sets and score big. Sami Francis and Lizzy Andrew are new middles. They add power and depth. Stanford plays fast and defends well. Their coach teaches them to be precise. I think they will be tough to beat.

Nebraska looks even better this year. They got a new player from the transfer portal. Her name is Virginia Adriano. She is a great opposite hitter and scores a lot. The team already has some stars. Harper Murray was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2023. She is an explosive outside hitter. Merritt Beason is a senior All-American and a clutch attacker. Lexi Rodriguez is amazing too—she won Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year two times. She is the best in the backcourt. Then there are Rebekah Allick and Andi Jackson. They are strong middles who block and attack well. With old players and new talent, Nebraska has a balanced team. I think they can go far in the tournament.
If Nebraska wins, it means they are still the top team. It will help them in the rankings and postseason. If Stanford wins, it shows their dynasty is not over. Both teams will learn from this. Maybe it shows weaknesses, like if Nebraska’s new players need more time. Or if Stanford’s young middles are ready. This game will decide a lot for their future.
