Season Overview

How to find the Huskers this season

The 2026 season runs across four networks and one streaming service. Nebraska opens with an exhibition at AT&T Stadium, plays showcase matches in Las Vegas and Chicago — including one at Wrigley Field — then settles into a Big Ten slate that ends with the conference's first-ever postseason tournament.

📺

The simple rule

If a Big Ten match is not selected for television, it streams on B1G+. There is no match that simply cannot be watched — the question is only whether you need a subscription.

🏟️

Three venues in Lincoln

Most home matches are at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Creighton on Sept. 16 is the season's only regular-season match at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

🏆

A new postseason

The Big Ten holds its first volleyball tournament this year, Nov. 20–25 at Fishers Event Center in Indiana, before the NCAA tournament begins.

On TBA entries: a blank network does not mean the match is unavailable. Big Ten matches without a TV pick still stream on B1G+, and networks add selections through the season — the November home matches against Illinois and Iowa are the most likely to be added late.

What each option actually costs you

BTN and FS1 come with most cable and live TV streaming packages, and both let you sign in with a TV provider login to watch through their apps. FOX matches are on broadcast television, so an antenna is enough for those.

B1G+ is the one that catches people out. It is a separate subscription, not included with a cable package, and it carries the conference matches the networks did not select. If you intend to watch every Husker match this season, you will need it.

Match-day checklist

  • Check the channel the morning of — assignments move, especially for FOX windows.
  • Times marked TBD are genuinely unset, not missing from this page.
  • Have your TV provider login ready for BTN and FS1 apps.
  • The Oct. 10 Wisconsin match is on FOX with no time confirmed yet.
  • Radio coverage runs on the Huskers Radio Network if you cannot get a picture.

FAQ

Nebraska Volleyball TV Schedule FAQ

It depends on the match. This season Nebraska appears on Big Ten Network, FS1 and FOX, with everything else on B1G+. BTN carries the largest share, including Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, USC and the Minnesota season finale.
Nebraska faces Florida in the Spikes Under the Lights exhibition at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. Central. The official season opener is Aug. 29 against UNLV at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
If you want all of them, yes. Big Ten matches not selected for television are shown on B1G+, which is a paid subscription separate from any cable or streaming package. Around half the conference slate currently has no network attached.
Networks select matches in waves rather than all at once. The Big Ten Network released its picks in early August and more will follow, including matches on Nebraska Public Media. A TBA here means the network has not announced, not that the match is unavailable.
Nebraska plays Missouri at Wrigley Field on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. Central as part of the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. It is on FOX, so no subscription is needed.
No. Creighton on Sept. 16 is the only regular-season match scheduled for Pinnacle Bank Arena. It starts at 6 p.m. Central on BTN.
Fifteen have confirmed networks at the moment — ten on BTN, three on FS1 and two on FOX. More are expected to be added as the season progresses.
It is new for 2026 — the conference's first volleyball postseason tournament, held Nov. 20–25 at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana. Broadcast details have not been announced.
For FOX matches, yes — those are on broadcast television. BTN and FS1 require a cable or live TV package, and B1G+ requires its own subscription.
The Huskers Radio Network carries matches across its affiliates with a live audio stream on Huskers.com and the Huskers app. It is the reliable fallback when a match has no TV pick.
Whenever networks announce new selections or confirm times. Match weeks tend to bring the most changes, so check back if a listing you need still reads TBD.
