John Cook is the head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team. He was born on April 19, 1956, and has led the team four times in the National Championships. Cook guided the team to 8 NCAA Finals, and 11 Semifinals and Claimed 13 Conference Titles at Nebraska. He joined the Nebraska Volleyball program in 2000 and the team won 694 matches under his leadership.

Cook ranks as the sixth-winning coach in NCAA history and is also recognized as AVCA Division I National Coach of the Year (2000, 2005, 2023). He married Wendy Cook and has two children, Lauren and Taylor. He began his coaching career at the University of California, San Diego, from 1983 to 1985, and coached at Francis Parker School from 1981 to 1988.

After that, Cook joined the University of Wisconsin–Madison as head coach from 1992 to 1998 and then moved to Nebraska, where he has been the head coach ever since.

Jaylen Reyes joined the Nebraska volleyball program as an assistant coach in March 2018. He is a top recruiter, helping Nebraska secure the No. 1-ranked recruiting class in 2021 and 2023.

Kelly Hunter

Kelly Hunter is serving as an assistant coach on the Nebraska Volleyball team. She comes from a volleyball family and grew up in Omaha, Neb. Joined the University team as a freshman in 2013 and was a two-time champion in the National championship.

Jordan Larson

Jordan Larson is the assistant coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team. She was born on 16,  October 1986. She won the Olympics four times and got one gold and two silver medals in the history of American volleyball.  Larson grew up in Fremont, Nebraska, and joined the volleyball career in 2005 at the University of Nebraska. Larson joined the women’s volleyball national team in 2009 and joined as an assistant Coach.
